Questions
Which files and banks work?
PDF statements downloaded from online banking work best. Photos and scans of paper statements work too (JPG, PNG, HEIC). We read the statement layout itself, so most banks work; every result is checked against the statement's own balances so you know when something didn't read correctly.
Can I convert a scan or phone photo?
Yes. Add each page as a photo; several photos become one statement, in file-name order. Flat, well-lit photos read best. If a digit is misread, the balance check catches it and highlights the row.
What happens to my statement?
It is processed in memory and discarded: results are deleted within minutes after download, or after 15 minutes if never downloaded. We never write it to disk or a database. To read it we send it to our AI provider, Anthropic; see the privacy policy for exactly what they keep and for how long.
Are failed conversions free?
Yes. A credit is used only when you download a result whose balances match. If the balances don't match, you can still download it for free to review it yourself. A failed conversion doesn't use up your free statement either.
Can I get a refund?
Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase. See refunds.
What formats do I get?
Excel (with a balance check sheet), CSV, QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) and a Xero bank statement CSV.
